I am creative, curious and love to learn. I am passionate about physical therapy and consider it my calling. I love to achieve and push myself. I enjoyed exercise and athletics as a teen and young adult and naturally fell into an orthopedics and sports medicine clinic setting for the next 10 years after graduating from PT school (Masters of Arts in Physical Therapy - PT, MA). In 2006 I took professional coursework in Vestibular Rehabilitation- the evaluation and treatment of dizziness and imbalance and I was hooked. Since then, I have specialized as a balance therapist, using a blend of vestibular and orthopedic rehab.

Vestibular therapy can provide rapid relief for those with vertigo and restore a patient’s balance abilities allowing them to get back to their daily life, job, and recreational activities. This therapy has also been shown to play a significant role in the rehabilitation of concussions and has brought me back full circle, working with athletes and those who sustain a concussion.

In 2021 I completed rigorous coursework and passed the written and practical examinations for certification in Dry Needling as a Myofascial Physical Therapist (CMFPT/DN). This has added a powerful treatment application for musculoskeletal conditions and injuries such as back & neck pain, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and chronic muscle tightness and pain. I remain committed to reviewing the scientific literature to find new treatments and interventions that improve our health and wellbeing. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, travelling, reading, knitting, and rock collecting. I am passionate about self cares for individuals to cultivate and maintain their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. For me, this includes spending time outdoors on our family farmland which was restored back to native prairie grassland and trips up to Lake Superior & Minnesota’s North Shore.

I am a life-long learner with a passion for helping people invest in their health and wellbeing. Before I started working here, I was a patient myself and found tremendous relief, which deepened my commitment to this work. I believe that self-care is one of the most important commitments a person can make and I strive to support each individual in discovering what that looks like for them. My goal is to create a welcoming space where people feel encouraged, empowered, and supported on their journey towards recovery and lasting wellness.
